My name is Janet Patterson. I live in Yukon, the northwestern corner of Canada, with my husband and the youngest of our three children (the other two have gone off to make their own way in the world). I am a former journalist, a corporate spokesperson, and a lover of shoes.
I particularly like to find and bring back to life, shoes that have been discarded by others. Many of the shoes you will see on this blog were purchased second hand at thrift shops or through eBay, proving that you don’t need a lot of money to have happy feet.
